Full-Time Sales Associate – 37 Drury Lane, Covent Garden, London

As the Full-Time Sales Associate at LaDuca Shoes, you are the heartbeat of our physical retail operation being the full-time sales associate in our London store. You will deliver exceptional customer experiences, uphold the London store as inspiring, well-run environment, and ensure consistency in brand standards across the globe. Reporting to the Floor Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the stores performance, team development, daily operations, and in-store activations.

Sales & Performance

  • Help the team to deliver measurable results, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
  • Uphold the values, culture and image of the LaDuca brand.
  • Educate and advise customers on which shoes or boots are best for them.

Operations & Administration

  • Ensure daily operational procedures are completed efficiently to support smooth trading.
  • Oversee till reconciliation, cash handling, and reporting.
  • Maintain Health & Safety and security protocols, ensuring uninterrupted trading and staff safety.

Stock Management 

  • Maintain brand-standard merchandising to support sales and enhance the customer experience.
  • Oversee stock levels, restocking, and faulty stock procedures to ensure product availability and minimise loss.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and maintain organised stockrooms to support smooth operations and maximise sales.

Customer Service & Brand Experience

  • Lead by example on the shop floor, delivering exceptional service that drives loyalty and conversion.
  • Gather customer insights and share with HQ to inform product, merchandising, and sales strategies.
  • Champion the LaDuca Shoes ethos in every interaction, enhancing both customer experience and sales potential.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in retail, ideally in a premium or fashion environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage shifting demands
  • Strong understanding of store operations, including cash handling, rotas, H&S, and security procedures
  • Confident handling customer escalations and delivering premium-level service
  • Proactive problem solver with a hands-on, can-do attitude
  • Reliable and punctual, with strong time management and attention to detail
  • Availability to work Saturdays as required
  • Ability to build strong relationships with HQ teams, customers, and the wider community
  • Strong understanding of LaDuca Shoes's brand principles, tone of voice, and community-led ethos, with the ability to embody and champion these in-store
